Water ripples projected onto drafting film and walls

A site-specific installation as part of SETTING OFF, a solo-show at RED Gallery, Hull

Seven film sheets form an arch between a shallow pool of water and the gallery's skylight, both 2.7m long x 70cm wide


This installation works like a silent musical instrument.
Water acts as the medium that conveys the message.
The slightest ripple on the surface of the water is projected by light onto the film sheets and gallery walls, creating large drawings in motion.
